PLAYING MEAN STREETS FROM FLOPPY DISKS
(Note: We encourage you to make backup copies of your disks)
ONE FLOPPY DRIVE:
Insert disk ONE into drive A and type A:<enter>.
Then type MS<enter>.
TWO FLOPPY DRIVES:
Insert disk ONE into drive A and disk TWO into drive B. Type
A:<enter>. Then type: MS<enter>. All swapping should be done on
drive A.
The program automatically scans the available drives for the file
it needs and then requests a disk swap if the file is not found.
Some files are not absolutely essential to the play of the game.
These include sound effects and a few graphics files. You can
reduce the amount of disk swapping by telling the program to bypass
these OPTIONAL files rather than force you to change disks. This
can be done in two ways:
